| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in high relief with finely engraved curling locks of hair splaying outward beneath the prominent solar rays. The youthful, idealised effigy displays characteristic Rhodian die-cutting of the plintophoric series, with softly modelled facial features including a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a well-defined brow. The entire design fills the field without inscription, consistent with the standard obverse type of Rhodian silver coinage of this period. |
