Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Mithridates I facing left, wearing a soft Parthian bashlyk-style headdress (karbasos) with the pointed cap leaning forward and long lappets visible behind the neck. The portrait is rendered in a Hellenistic style with finely delineated facial features including a prominent eye, aquiline nose, and short beard. A dotted border encircles the flan, framing the effigy within the field. The overall style reflects the transitional Greco-Iranian artistic tradition characteristic of early Arsacid royal portraiture.
