The figure holds a strung bow in the right hand, with the left hand resting on the knee, in the standard dynastic reverse type adopted by the Arsacid dynasty. A royal monogram appears in the outer left field. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ encircles the reverse field, reading 'of the Great King Arsaces.'
