| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in fine relief with characteristic splayed sun rays emerging from the hair. The facial features are well-modelled in the Hellenistic style, with curling locks framing the face. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. The flan is slightly irregular, typical of hammered silver coinage of the Rhodian plintophoric series. |
