Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his right arm extended forward bearing an eagle with spread wings, his left hand grasping a long sceptre. In the left field, a forepart of a lion facing left is placed above a monogram. Below the throne appears either a cornucopia or a monogram, distinguishing the two known varieties of this issue. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ ('of King Lysimachus') runs in two lines flanking the central type.
