Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his draped lower body resting upon a footstool; he extends his right hand forward bearing an eagle with spread wings, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. In the left field, the forepart of a lion advancing left is placed above a torch; a crescent appears beneath the throne. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the seated deity, identifying the issuing authority as King Lysimachus.
