| Description du revers | Bearded male head facing right, set within a shallow incuse square characteristic of Lycian hammered coinage of this period. A small animal, identified as a boar or similar creature, is depicted in the lower field before the face. Lycian script legends appear in the left and right fields of the incuse square, reading the dynastic name and patronymic of the issuer. The incuse technique and the bold, somewhat archaic rendering of the portrait are typical of Lycian dynastic silver coinage of the early fourth century BC. |
