Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Eucratides I facing right, wearing a crested Boeotian helmet adorned with a bull's ear and horn, an emblematic device closely associated with this ruler. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style with fine detail, conveying authority and martial character. The smooth field surrounding the effigy is unlettered on this side.

Reverse description The Dioskouroi — Castor and Pollux — depicted as mounted warriors on rearing horses galloping to the right, each figure bearing a spear and palm frond. The two riders are shown in vigorous, dynamic composition characteristic of Baktrian royal coinage. A dynastic monogram appears to the right in the field. The circular Greek legend surrounds the scene, reading ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔΟΥ.
