| 背面描述 | A rose in full bloom with a bud to the right, the civic emblem of Rhodes, occupies the central field, flanked by the monogram Ρ to the left and Ο to the right. The magistrate's name ΔΑΜΟΚΡΑΤΗΣ is inscribed above in Greek capitals. A secondary symbol, identified as a torch or sword, appears in the lower left field. The entire design is contained within a shallow square incuse (plinth), which is the hallmark feature of the Rhodian plintophoric coinage series of the second century BC. |
