| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing right, rendered in fine high relief characteristic of Rhodian coinage. The hair is depicted in flowing, naturalistic locks swept back from the face, surmounted by a radiate crown of straight rays fanning outward around the head. The facial features are finely modelled with strong classical style, displaying a youthful, idealised visage. The field is smooth and unadorned, with no legend present on the obverse. |
