| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters right, rendered in high relief with characteristic splayed solar rays emanating from the crown of the head. The youthful, idealised visage displays finely modelled facial features including a straight nose and slightly parted lips. Curling locks of hair are visible at the temple and neck, framing the face in the Hellenistic artistic tradition. The flan is slightly irregular, a common feature of Rhodian plintophoric coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | A fully open rose with stem and bud to the right, the civic emblem of Rhodes, depicted in bold relief at centre. The magistrate's name ΑΡΤΕΜΩΝ appears above the rose, flanked by the ethnic ΡΟ split to either side. Below and to the left, an Isis crown surmounts a monogram (ΤΕ), serving as a secondary control mark. The entire design is enclosed within a shallow square incuse (plinthophoron), the hallmark of the late Rhodian drachm series. |
