Obverse description Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters right, rendered in high relief with characteristic spread sunrays emanating from the crown of the head. The youthful, idealized effigy displays finely detailed facial features including a straight nose, parted lips, and a subtly modeled eye. The style is characteristic of Hellenistic Rhodian coinage, with the god's hair loosely arranged beneath the radiate crown. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of hammered silver issues of this period.
