| Popis rubu | A tripod-lebes depicted frontally in the centre of the field, with a large cauldron bowl resting atop a cylindrical column set on claw feet, the whole flanked by two laurel or dotted branches curving upward to either side. To the right, a caduceus is shown vertically in the field, its serpentine shaft clearly visible. The ethnic inscription ΦΙΛΙΠΠΩΝ is placed to the left of the tripod, reading downward in Greek characters. The composition is arranged with careful symmetry and reflects the Apolline religious iconography common to early Macedonian colonial coinage. |
