Reverse description A bold plain cross with equal arms extends nearly to the border of the coin, dividing the field into four quadrants. The cross is rendered in high relief relative to the surrounding field, consistent with hammered medieval technique. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, partially legible due to the irregular flan and typical strike weakness of the issue. The overall design is stark and emblematic, reflecting the standard reverse type employed for Aragonese billon coinage of the mid-fifteenth century.
Reverse script Latin
Reverse lettering ARAGONUM ET MAIORICARUM
(Translation: of Aragon and Majorca)
