Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script arranged in horizontal registers across the field, recording the mint name and regnal year. The text identifies the place of issue as Saray al-Jadida and the AH date 761, presented in the standard formulaic layout of Golden Horde dang coinage. A subtle inner border line partially frames the inscription field on some examples. The strike is bold though slightly off-center, consistent with the hand-produced nature of hammered Jochid silver.
