| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse bears a multi-line Arabic calligraphic legend in bold relief, occupying the entire field without a border, executed in the characteristic cursive Naskh script of Golden Horde coinage. The central legend reads 'al-Sultan al-Adil' (the Just Sultan), with the full titulature of Khan Jani Beg including 'Jalal al-Din Mahmud Sultan' distributed across four lines. The die is slightly off-centre on this irregularly shaped flan, typical of hammered Mongol silver coinage of the mid-14th century. No decorative border frame is present, and the legends extend close to the uneven rim. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic mint and date legend enclosed within a characteristic lobed or cusped cartouche frame, a decorative device commonly employed on Golden Horde dirhams of this period. The inscription, arranged in three horizontal lines within the frame, gives the mint name Saray al-Jadida and the Hijri year of striking. The lobed border with concave quadrilateral corners is rendered in clear relief against a flat field. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped at the edges, consistent with hand-struck Mongol silver currency of the 740s AH. |
