| 正面描述 | The obverse field is entirely occupied by multiple lines of densely struck Arabic script in the Naskh style, filling the flan from rim to rim. The central legend contains the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) and a Quranic victory verse (Surah 3:126). The lower portion of the field bears the AH date rendered in words: 'forty-four and seven hundred' (AH 744). The irregular flan, characteristic of Mamluk hammered silver coinage, causes partial clipping of the marginal legend at several points along the rim. |
