| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by multiple lines of Arabic legend in Naskhi script, presenting the Shahada and a Quranic victory formula. The inscription reads the declaration of faith and the phrase affirming that victory comes only from God. The flan is irregular and slightly oval, characteristic of hammered Mamluk silver coinage, with flat, worn surfaces showing natural circulation wear. No figural imagery is present, the design being entirely epigraphic in the established Mamluk tradition. |
