The legend includes the name and titles of the issuing authority, Abu Mansur al-Mu'izzi, along with Quranic text and dating formulae typical of Ismaili-Qarmatid coinage of the period. The flan is irregular and slightly cracked at the edges, a hallmark of hand-struck silver production of this era. No border or annular inscription ring is discernible due to the irregular shape of the planchet. The strike is moderately well-centred with some flatness at the periphery. |
