Obverse description Crowned bust of King Enrique IV facing left, wearing a detailed crown with visible crenellations and a draped garment rendered with horizontal lines suggesting chainmail or fabric folds. The royal portrait is struck in moderate relief, typical of mid-15th century Castilian hammered coinage. A circular legend in Latin surrounds the effigy, separated from the central device by a beaded inner border. The flan is irregular in shape, as is characteristic of hand-struck medieval Iberian issues. The overall style is consistent with the workshop practices of the Segovia mint under Enrique IV.
