Obverse description Facing radiate head of Helios in high relief, rendered three-quarter facing with characteristic flowing, wind-swept hair arranged symmetrically about the face. The solar deity's features are finely modeled in the Rhodian tradition, with a broad forehead, well-defined brows, and full lips. The hair radiates outward in thick wavy locks, conveying the luminous nature of the sun god. No legend accompanies the central type, the entire field being dominated by the imposing effigy.

Reverse description A fully open rose in high relief occupies the central field, its petals fanning outward in stylized form — the civic badge and punning emblem of Rhodes (rhodon, 'rose'). To the upper left, a budding rose sprig with leaves is depicted, while to the right a serpent-entwined staff or similar botanical element is present. The magistrate's name CTACIWN (Stasion) is inscribed in Greek letters above, and the ethnic abbreviation P O flanks the rose below, all within a beaded border.
