Obverse description Horseman advancing to the right, depicted as a mounted warrior or king in dynamic motion; the rider, rendered in high relief in the Thraco-Greek artistic tradition, is shown with arms extended, possibly holding a spear or reins, seated upon a horse shown in full gallop. The flan is irregular and the style is characteristic of Odrysian royal coinage, reflecting local workshop production influenced by contemporary Greek numismatic conventions. The bold, somewhat schematic rendering of both horse and rider is typical of the Seuthes II coinage series.
