| Reverse description | Oesho (the Kushan syncretism of Shiva) depicted standing facing, in frontal view, with multiple arms rendered in the Kushan artistic convention for divine figures. Nandi, the sacred bull, stands in profile to the left behind the deity, facing left into the field. A Kharosthi inscription frames the design, identifying the deity. The composition reflects the strong Shaivite religious influence prevalent under Vasudeva I's reign. |
