Obverse description King Vasudeva I depicted in left profile, standing before a flaming altar over which he performs a ritual sacrifice; his left hand grasps a trident, the characteristic attribute of the Shaivite royal iconography. The figure is rendered in the Kushan artistic tradition, with the king shown in royal dress typical of the dynasty. The field is plain, with a Kharosthi legend accompanying the royal effigy.

Reverse description Oesho (the Kushan syncretism of Shiva) depicted standing facing, in frontal view, with multiple arms rendered in the Kushan artistic convention for divine figures. Nandi, the sacred bull, stands in profile to the left behind the deity, facing left into the field. A Kharosthi inscription frames the design, identifying the deity. The composition reflects the strong Shaivite religious influence prevalent under Vasudeva I's reign.
