Obverse description Draped bust of Artemis facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and bound with a laurel wreath, loose tresses falling behind the neck. The goddess is depicted in the refined Hellenistic style characteristic of the Ephesian mint, with fine facial features and a graceful profile. No legend appears on the obverse field.

Reverse description A stag kneeling to the right in the proskynesis pose, head raised and turned to face forward, its branching antlers prominently rendered. A bee symbol, the civic emblem of Ephesos, appears to the upper right of the stag, with a magistrate's monogram (ΦΕ) below it. The ethnic inscription ΕΦΕΣΙΩΝ and the magistrate's name ΓPYΛIΣ are arranged vertically in the left field.
