| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large rose in bloom occupies the central field, with petals rendered in high relief, flanked by a bee to the lower left and a rosebud on a curling tendril to the lower right — both emblems closely associated with Rhodian civic iconography. Above the rose, the magistrate's name AINHTΩP is inscribed in Greek letters along the upper border within a dotted circular frame. The letters P and O, abbreviating ΡΟΔΙΩΝ (of the Rhodians), appear in the lower field to either side of the rose. The composition is bold and well-centred, consistent with the high artistic standards of the Rhodian mint during the early second century BC. |
