| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Demetrios II Nikator facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition with finely detailed hair and a prominent diadem. The king's features display a bearded visage with curling locks framing the face. A dotted border encircles the design. The field is largely plain, with the portrait dominating the flan. The strike is characteristic of Sidonian civic bronze coinage of the second century BC. |
