| Obverse description | Bare head of Apollo facing right, laureate, with hair rolled up and dressed in a characteristic Hellenistic fashion; two long curling locks descend along the neck. The facial features are rendered in the refined Hellenistic style typical of Seleucid bronze coinage, with a youthful, idealized appearance. The flan is irregular and shows the characteristic surface patination of a struck bronze issue. No legend appears on the obverse. |
