Obverse description Duke Vratislaus II depicted facing, enthroned in majesty within a crescent or oval frame, wearing a crown, his figure shown frontally in a schematic Romanesque style typical of Bohemian medieval coinage. The throne is rendered with a prominent footrest and flanking uprights. The surrounding field is bordered by a zigzag or dentilated outer ring, and the legend WRATISLAS arcs around the central design.
