Reverse description A plain Latin cross with equal arms occupies the central field, enclosed within a well-defined beaded inner circle. The arms of the cross extend to the beaded border, dividing the inner field into four quarters. The surrounding outer legend PALATINA MONE is distributed around the periphery outside the beaded circle, identifying the palatine mint. Small decorative elements and cross pattée terminals appear in the outer legend field between letters. The design follows the standard Carolingian palace mint denier type, combining Christian symbolism with the royal mint attribution.
