| Obverse description | Central field features a Carolingian monogram formed by interlaced letters, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The monogram is rendered in the typical Carolingian epigraphic style, with the vertical and horizontal strokes intersecting prominently at center. A cross pattée appears in the left field.
