Obverse description Facing crowned bust of King Charles Robert (Károly Róbert) of the Angevin dynasty, rendered in a stylized Gothic manner characteristic of early 14th-century Hungarian coinage. The king's face is depicted frontally with schematic features including a beard, framed by a prominent crown with fleurs-de-lis finials. The bust is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads + · M REGIS CARVLI, identifying this as money of King Károly.

Reverse description A large fleur-de-lis occupies the central field, a heraldic device emblematic of the Angevin dynasty and a hallmark of Charles Robert's coinage reform. The fleur-de-lis is rendered in bold relief with clearly articulated upper petals and foliated lower cusps. Flanking the central motif are the mintmaster's initials or mint letters (e.g., S-B, L-n, Z-A), positioned to the left and right of the central device. The design is set within a beaded border. The field is plain with no additional legend.
