Reverse description The reverse depicts a standing figure of Saint Ladislaus (László), the patron saint of Hungary, shown in full robes holding his characteristic attributes. To the right, a smaller standing figure is present, possibly representing a suppliant or secondary devotional figure. The Latin legend S LADISLAVS surrounds the design. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with the figures rendered in the flat, linear style typical of hammered medieval Hungarian deniers of the Angevin period.
