| Reverse description | Crude depiction of a bishop's crozier or pastoral staff rendered in a highly schematic fashion, accompanied by abbreviated lettering in the field, partially legible as SCA or similar devotional abbreviation reduced to rudimentary strokes and annulets. The design is contained within a plain circular border and reflects the debased artistic style typical of anonymous episcopal deniers of the Merseburg Bishopric circa 1100–1105. Cross elements with T-shaped terminals and crozier symbols occupy the quadrants of the field. |
