正面描述 Central field dominated by a large Gothic letter M surmounted by a royal crown with fleurs-de-lis finials, the uprights of the letter forming the base of the composition. A stylized foliate spray or leaf ornament appears to each side of the letter in the field. The whole design is contained within a border of beads.

附加信息

Andrew III, the last Árpád king, ruled a kingdom fractured by baronial revolt and competing dynastic claims from the Angevins. His coinage was struck under constant political duress — papal support for Charles Martel's rival claim meant Andrew spent much of his reign defending his legitimacy as much by sword as by seal. These deniers circulated in a Hungary where central royal authority was visibly collapsing, and the mint output reflected that instability in both consistency and volume.

His death in 1301 without a male heir ended over three centuries of Árpád rule.
