Obverse description Central shield bearing the arms of the Monfalcone family, surmounted by a bishop's crosier. The heraldic device is rendered in the Gothic style typical of late medieval ecclesiastical coinage. The legend, divided by the crosier at the top, encircles the shield within a beaded or linear border. The overall design is characteristic of hammered billon deniers struck for the Bishopric of Lausanne during the episcopate of Aimo di Monfalcone.

Reverse description A floriated cross, with ornate fleur-de-lis terminals on each arm, centered within an inner circle. The arms of the cross divide the field into four quarters, each enriched with floral or trefoil decorative elements in the Gothic tradition. A circular legend surrounds the inner circle, referencing the Marian salutation. The composition is consistent with late medieval ecclesiastical deniers of the Savoyard-Romand region.
