A leopard passant to the right is integrated within the legend, its form interwoven with the letterforms in the characteristic wire-money style of early Muscovite coinage. The overall composition is typical of hammered wire dengas, with an irregular flan and uneven strike distribution. The inscription names Grand Prince Vasily Dmitriyevich as the issuing authority. |

The rider, wearing a pointed cap, holds a falcon on his outstretched right arm, a motif characteristic of Muscovite dengas of this period and associated with the princely court. A Cyrillic peripheral legend surrounds the central device, running along the coin's edge. The strike is irregular, consistent with hammered wire-money production technique. The reverse identifies the coin's place of issue as Kolomna. |
