Obverse description A grazing ox depicted in profile facing right occupies the central field, rendered in the crude yet expressive style typical of mid-fifteenth-century papal billon coinage. The animal is shown with lowered head as if feeding, with details of the legs and body visible despite the limitations of the hammered technique. A circular Latin legend surrounds the type, separated from the central device by an inner border.
