| 背面描述 | Diana Lucifera depicted in full figure, draped and striding vigorously to the right, her bow held in her extended left hand while her right arm reaches back over her shoulder to draw an arrow from the quiver at her back. The goddess is rendered in dynamic motion, her drapery flowing behind her, conveying energy and divine purpose. The reverse legend IMP XII in the upper field and SICIL in the exergue or lower field commemorates Augustus's twelfth imperatorial acclamation and references Sicily. The composition reflects the elegant Hellenistic artistic tradition adopted in Augustan state coinage. |

Struck at the Lugdunum (Lyon) mint during Augustus's twelfth imperatorial acclamation, this issue dates to a period when the emperor was consolidating control over the western provinces following the Alpine campaigns. The IMP XII designation brackets the issue tightly to 11–10 BC, coinciding with the death of Agrippa in 12 BC and the subsequent reshuffling of dynastic arrangements that kept Augustus's succession plans perpetually unsettled.
RIC 197B is the variant with the obverse legend in a specific arrangement distinguishing it from 197A — a minor but catalogued die difference that matters for attribution rather than value.
