| Obverse description | Bare head of Augustus facing left, rendered in fine classical style with softly modelled features and naturalistically carved hair arranged in short layered locks across the forehead. The portrait is an idealised effigy projecting both youth and authority, consistent with the Augustan programme of dynastic imagery. The encircling legend reads AVGVSTVS to the left and DIVI F to the right, separated by the portrait. A beaded border frames the field. |

| Reverse description | Two figures face one another across an open field: at left, a standing female figure — likely a personification of a province or a deity such as Diana or Pax — extends a laurel branch upward with her right hand while holding a long sceptre or staff in her left; at right, Augustus or a togate figure is seated on a low platform or sella, extending his right arm in a gesture of reception or salutation. The exergual legend IMP X is inscribed below the baseline on which both figures stand. The composition alludes to Augustus's tenth imperatorial acclamation and the restoration of peace. A beaded border encircles the design. |
