附加信息	Juan II ruled Navarre in an increasingly nominal capacity for much of this period — real power shifted dramatically after the civil war between his faction and that of his son Carlos de Viana, which tore the kingdom apart through the 1450s. Carlos, the legitimate heir, died in 1461 under circumstances suspicious enough to trigger riots across the Crown of Aragon. Coins struck under Juan's name during these decades circulated through a kingdom whose political coherence was dissolving almost in real time. The billon content of Navarrese cornados from this reign is notably debased even by contemporary Iberian standards.
