Reverse description The reverse features a cross pattee inscribed within a circle, dividing the field into four quarters, a standard device on Navarrese deniers of the period. The cross is boldly struck and fills the inner circle, which is in turn enclosed by a beaded border. The surrounding legend reads + NAVAR ARAGONVM, referencing the dual kingdoms of Navarre and Aragon under Juan II's rule. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-struck medieval billon coinage.
