Obverse description Bust of Mithridates I facing right, wearing a bashlyk or soft cap characteristic of early Parthian royal portraiture. The effigy displays a bearded profile with stylized hair rendered in Hellenistic artistic tradition. The flan is irregularly shaped, as typical of hammered bronze coinage of this period, and the relief is worn but the portrait remains identifiable. No legend appears on the obverse.
