| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet with cheekpieces rendered in fine relief. The goddess's hair flows in loose locks beneath the helmet, and her facial features are rendered in the characteristic late Classical style of Magna Graecia. The relief is boldly struck within an irregular flan typical of small bronze issues of this period. |
