The figure occupies the central field of the irregular flan, with the dynastic inscription TASCIIOVANTIS arranged around the periphery, identifying Cunobelin as son of Tasciovanos. The relief is relatively flat and the die work shows characteristic Iron Age British craftsmanship, with the legend partially visible depending on flan completeness.
