| 表面の説明 | Uniface bracteate strike depicting a central Latin cross flanked on each side by a crenellated tower, all rendered in bold relief characteristic of the Friesach minting tradition. The cross occupies the central field with its shaft extending downward between the two towers, each of which displays architectural detail typical of medieval heraldic representation. The design is struck on a thin, irregularly shaped silver flan with characteristic bracteate distortion visible at the margins. No legend or inscription is present; the composition is entirely pictorial. The style and iconography are consistent with the Carinthian Friesach pfennig type of the early fourteenth century. |

Friesach was among the earliest and most prolific minting sites in the eastern Alpine region, and its pfennigs circulated so widely that "Friesacher Pfennig" became a generic trade term across much of central Europe well into the 13th century. By 1330, however, that dominance had long collapsed — successive episcopal and ducal minting rights disputes had fragmented the coinage, and attributing specific bracteates to named rulers from this late period remains genuinely difficult. CNA Ca99 reflects that ambiguity directly.
