Reverse description A plain long cross divides the reverse field into four equal quarters, extending to the inner border. The arms of the cross are of uniform width and terminate near the beaded circle that separates the central device from the peripheral legend. A circular Latin devotional legend encircles the entire design. The reverse exhibits the flat, worn surfaces typical of a heavily circulated hammered billon piece of the late medieval Navarrese series.
