Reverse description Two figures on horseback moving to the right, depicting an equestrian scene in which a foreground rider in military cuirass is accompanied by a second rider to the left, both seated on a horse shown at a brisk pace. The composition is rendered in relief characteristic of Gallic Imperial aurei, with the horse's legs extended in a dynamic stride. The reverse legend is distributed in the field around the central group, partially flanking the figures. The treatment of the drapery and armor reflects the artistic conventions of the Gallic mint workshops of the early 270s. The plain exergue is devoid of mintmark.
