The figure is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Cologne mint, with simplified but recognizable iconographic attributes. The Latin legend PIETAS AVG surrounds the type, invoking the piety and religious devotion of the emperor. 附加信息	Victorinus ruled the breakaway Gallic Empire for less than two years before being murdered in early 271, almost certainly by an officer whose wife Victorinus had seduced. His coins were struck at Cologne and Trier during a period when the central Roman mint had effectively lost control of the western provinces entirely — a separation that had begun under Postumus in 260 and would not be resolved until Aurelian crushed Tetricus in 274. The billon content by this point was so debased that the "silver" designation is largely nominal.
