Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Victorinus facing right, rendered in the late Roman provincial style characteristic of Gallic Empire coinage. The emperor wears a radiate crown with prominent spikes, a paludamentum over the left shoulder, and segmented cuirass. The circumferential Latin legend IMP C PIAV VICTORINVS P F AVG surrounds the effigy, partially legible on this worn specimen. The flan is irregular in shape, as typical of billon antoniniani struck under the Gallic Empire.
