Reverse description The personification of Concordia stands facing left in flowing robes, her right foot resting upon a ship's prow (rostrum), symbolising naval harmony and accord with the cavalry forces. In her right hand she holds a patera extended over the prow, and in her left hand a long rudder resting on the ground. The Latin legend CONCORD EQVIT, an abbreviation of Concordia Equitum, is inscribed around the periphery within a beaded border, celebrating the harmony between Postumus and the equestrian troops under Aureolus.
